David is the owner of a fine Salon in Grosse Pointe Michigan.  We were shooting hair for some advertisements.  I encouraged David to pose for a few shots.  The result was one of my favorite portraits.

This photograph was shot out side of Beijing China.  It was an unplanned captured moment. This image is one of my favorite photographs I captured in China.   It is one of those rare images that works well displayed in both black & white and color.

This image of a construction worker was taken in New York City as part of a larger documentary project for a national trade magazine.

Laura Jean is a young singer and songwriter.  We have had a number of sessions in studio with her.  We’ve built sets as well as shot on location for many of her images.  Many of her photographs have worked extremely well as black and images.

This image was taken as part of a series of images representing the first day of school.  I used both black and white and high contrast post-production techniques that worked well with this image.
